Commu is addressing urgent social challenges by strengthening local communities in collaboration with cities (B2G SaaS). 200,000+ users in Nordics and UK, winner of multiple international awards including GlobalESGAwards 2026. 35+ partner cities including City of Manchester.
Commu is built by three friends, who've scaled the app from nothing to the most popular app for helping in Finland and Nordics :) Now scaled the team, by fundraising from 6 different countries.
Over the past two years, we have worked closely with cities to reduce social issues such as loneliness, exclusion, and lack of access to help by making it easy for citizens to ask for help, offer support, and participate in their communities, free of charge.
Commu app enables low-threshold peer support, volunteering, and civic participation, increasing social cohesion, trust, and everyday safety. We believe that strong communities are the first line of defense in both everyday challenges and larger societal crises.
