Karina Wozniak

Global Head of HR | Cambridge Innovation Center

Karina Woźniak is Global Head of HR at CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center), the global leader in innovation infrastructure, operating campuses across North America, Europe and Asia. Based in Warsaw, Poland, she leads HR strategy for CIC's teams across the US, EU and Asia.

Karina joined CIC in 2019 after fifteen years running her own language-training and business-workshop company, moving from Talent Acquisition Lead through People Success leadership to her current global role. Early on, she was asked to build CIC's Tokyo campus team entirely remotely - without ever setting foot in Japan - and did it by researching Japanese hiring culture from the ground up rather than assuming a Western playbook would transfer. That instinct - question the assumption, go find out - still shapes how she works.

Her current focus sits at the intersection of leadership development, HR best practices, AI adoption, HR as a business function and employee voice: how organizations integrate all of these without losing the human judgment and trust that make people want to stay. She speaks on workforce transformation, resilience, leadership development and wellbeing strategy.
