Lucia Melcore is an HR Director with 18 years of experience, primarily at Procter & Gamble (P&G). Throughout her career, she has progressed through various HR Business Partner roles across multiple functions, including Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Commercial Organizations. With extensive experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Lucia has achieved a leadership role in DEI for Europe, where she is also responsible for global DEI pillars such as Paid Parental Leave Global Policy and expansion of Multicultural Inclusion. Over the past five years, she has developed actionable strategies to create inclusive environments that empower all employees to thrive and designed innovative interventions across several segments. Her strategic insights have been crucial in integrating DEI into the business and people strategies at P&G Europe, embedding inclusion into key HR talent systems such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Talent Development. Lucia holds a Master's degree in HR Management and is an executive member of the Europe DEI Council at The Conference Board, as well as a member of the Corporate Advisory Board of the Rome Business School and member of the Executive Council at Valore D Italy. She collaborates with several external partners at both the European and country levels to advance capabilities in the business community. Passionate about mentoring the next generation of leaders, Lucia firmly believes in the transformative power of analytics and insights, psychological safety and continuous learning in driving business success.
