Nico Decock

Nico Decock is Partner and Research Director, Future Workforce, at Bloor Research International in London. He works on workforce transformation, organisztional architecture and the changing relationship between humans, AI and the enterprise. In 2025 he was named Thought Leader of the Year at the HRM Summit in Bahrain.

With more than 35 years of international experience across family-owned businesses, major European organizations and Fortune 500 multinationals, he has held senior HR, transformation and advisory roles in Europe, the United States, MENA and Asia.

He is the author of Rewiring the Human Delta and The Fused Enterprise, and developed the LEAP framework as a successor to VUCA and BANI for understanding organizational reality in an era of AI, acceleration and structural uncertainty.

His research covers future workforce architecture, human-machine agency, workforce economics and the redesign of work, capability, authority and accountability. His current work examines how organizations produce knowledge about their people, and what is lost when they infer rather than ask.

His central proposition: organizations will not win by deploying more technology, but by deliberately architecting the interaction between human capability and machine intelligence.
