Carlo Purassanta is a European leader in technology and innovation, with a career that bridges business, digital transformation, and social impact. He is the founder of The Evident Project, a pan-European growth buyout fund dedicated to scaling high-potential technology companies, and Evident Generation, a consulting firm that supports private equity funds in accelerating their tech portfolio companies. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President for Strategy & Corporate Development at ION Group and as Executive Chairman of Cerved. His managerial experience includes key leadership roles at Microsoft, where he led operations in France and Italy, and at IBM, where he held various executive positions across EMEA. He serves on the boards of OTB and Diesel, the Investment Board of the French Touch Fund, and has served on the Strategy Advisory Board of the School of Management at Politecnico di Milano. He holds an Engineering degree from Politecnico di Milano and an MBA from Henley Business School in the UK. Author of “A Crucial Impetus”, he explores how technology can serve society and help organizations shape the future through responsible decision-making.
